And since we now have set ourselves the goal of becoming a user group for the entire Nordic region, it was time for a new name, a new strategy and a new logo.

I recently received a question from Patrick Kwinten about whether I am still using my BuildXPages project, and whether I have involved Jenkins in the setup. The answer is yes, I still use BuildXPages on a daily basis, and in regards to Jenkins, I have been using Jenkins for almost 5 years to build and deploy our XPages projects.

Get sorted results from DQL queries

By Ulrich Krause | 6/6/19 9:33 AM | App Dev - Bluemix | Added by Roberto Boccadoro

NotesDominoQuery by now does not support sorting of the results that come out of a query. John Curtis demoed at DNUG46 in Essen how you can get your results sorted. He showed the code only for a second, so I needed to rewrite it from scratch. The method that he showed leverages from the new ‘maintainOrder’ property that has been added in V10 to the NotesViewEntryCollection class.

More strict Server Certificate handling in iOS 13 macOS 10.15

By Daniel Nashed | 6/5/19 6:19 PM | Infrastructure - Notes / Domino | Added by Matteo Bisi

Beginning with iOS13 and macOS 10.15 the more stricter handling could have quite high impact and lead to untrusted certificates specially for internal certificates. An official CA should have taken care of this already and certificates should be correctly issued.

3 weeks, 3 countries, 3 roles

By Martin Pradny | 5/30/19 5:54 AM | Business - Social Business | Added by Oliver Busse

I should be probably doing some work now, but the last three weeks were quite busy and a short blog post may help me to process all the information I gathered (or I'm just too tired to get any real work done as it looked like that half of Poland is going home for an extended weekend due to public holiday in Germany and I got home at 2AM instead of 11PM).

Domino App Dev Pack: Understanding Scopes

By Paul Withers | 5/28/19 9:35 AM | App Dev - Web | Added by Oliver Busse

One of the aspects of the app dev pack yet to fully coalesce is the concept of scopes. But I think it will be key to the future, as an app dev and admin tool. It’s certainly something that will not be familiar to those who have never stepped beyond Domino.

Domino Linux Start Script Feedback Request

By Daniel Nashed | 5/23/19 5:28 PM | Infrastructure - Notes / Domino | Added by Matteo Bisi

This week I had a couple of discussions about start script management and deployment. I have been at a customer who wanted to keep their existing none-standard locations for the Domino data directory and also the binary location. Now with systemd environments we have another file that contains the path to the main script logic which is located by default in /opt/ibm/domino/rc_domino-script.

Modernising Domino Applications: Technical Deep Dive Part Two

By Paul Withers | 5/23/19 12:10 PM | App Dev - Mobile | Added by Roberto Boccadoro

Last time I covered Notes Client and XPages modernisations. In this blog post I’ll cover Domino Mobile Apps enhancements. DMA is already available on iPad, with Android and iPhone to follow. You can use a Notes Client application on mobile with no changes. My personal view is that if you just hand it over, without review, without modernisation, without consideration, you’re doing it wrong.

In a lot of ways, it was similar to my presentation at CollabSphere last year, mixed with the various new developments I've talked about on here since then
