In my previous blog post, HCL Notes SwiftFile, I started by briefly describing some new functionalities in HCL Notes 11. Some of these functionalities need to be specifically enabled through settings in the preferences or by adding new parameters in the notes.ini file. A new level of security in HCL Notes 11 can be added using the new Three Click Support functionality. This functionality must be enabled through a notes.ini setting. Below is a brief description of this functionality. Three click support adds a level of security when a user opens an attachment within an email. The Open-Save-View dialog box still appears after a user double clicks an attachment. When three click support is enabled the user will then be prompted to confirm the action they have chosen in a second message box.
